  • The Easy Ride Clutch (ERC)

The Easy Ride Clutch is a centrifugal clutch that allows you to ride off without the need to use the clutch lever, and makes it easier to ride at low speeds or in stop-and-go traffic. It remains closed in overrun mode and therefore functions as an engine brake, like with a conventional clutch. This is especially useful when riding downhill.

  • LED headlights

The full-LED headlight with X icon is based on that of its big sibling, the R 1300 GS, and expresses the GS character.

  • Adjustable hand lever

Precise maneuvers on any terrain: with the adjustable hand levers, you can adapt the brake and clutch levers to meet your needs precisely.

  • 1.7" gold anodized upside-down fork

The gold anodized, 1.7" (43 mm) upside-down fork with 7" of spring travel wins riders over with its sophisticated finish, while also providing effective damping.

  • Adjustable suspension strut

Progressive damping (WAD) on every route: The adjustable suspension strut adapts to the weight, riding style and road surface. For both control and comfort.
