"Giovanni -one cool dude. PATIENT, hard working. Mark - the owner, heard I really wanted my bike and actually got in his truck and drove 4 hours to get to me THAT NIGHT. Wow. My brother and I had just finished a workout and there he was...with my new Ducati in the back! Got everything I expected EXCEPT a velcro strap on something or other for my gear and helmet liner discussed, but Mark promised they'd get it me something. Wished they had come during the day so I could have "test rode" with them present as agreed upon BUT he did take 2 hours showing me the "basics" and answered all my questions while parked. "I meant to write this earlier but am glad I waited as I have much to add. I bought a 1997 R1100RT in Texas and decided to "check it out" on a trip to Charlotte. I called your parts department for a rebuild kit for the front brake master cylinder. I was so impressed by the genuine care your folks showed me that I decided to let them do the rebuild and adjust my clutch cable. Delong Lee is a class act. He took the time to talk with me about what he had done and he told me that he noticed my rear shock was showing signs of leakage. Riding two up over the next two days confirmed rear shock issues and I called John Brannagan to order an Ohlins. I needed to get back to Texas but I knew I wanted my bike repaired at your shop. I have been riding all my life. I have never had a helmet that didn't leave a hot spot on my forehead. I have spent lots trying to remedy this. It can get quite miserable. While we were waiting for the shock to be installed, casual conversation with John on my helmet issues brought him from around the counter with a tape measure. I have never had anyone actually measure my head. He tried me in different hats with different shapes until we found the one that provided even pressure all the way around my head. I was so confident that he had finally nailed my problem, I special ordered an Arai and stuck around to wait on its arrival. My girlfriend bought a matching hat. Once again, casual conversation brought John from around the counter on the subject of jackets. I had looked at your store and didn't find what I thought I wanted. I had bought a jacket the day before, at another store, but was not pleased with it. John shared his personal experience and showed us what he had in the Olympia name. We bought them. Now, on the way back to Texas, I noticed my new Aria helmet was not causing any discomfort on my head. This was a first! In fact, I covered 750 miles that first day, whereas before I would've only been able to stand about 500. My enjoyment in riding has reached a level I didn't ever think it would without finding someone to make me a custom molded hat. As simple as it sounds, now, I have spent years and thousands trying to remedy this. I called John to thank him. I want to thank him again, now. My girl and I took a ride west. 10 day loop through New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. We experienced the full range of weather from hot 90's to freezing snow. The Olympia jackets, with the mesh shells and zip out linings made a trip that could've easily been a disappointment into one that was very pleasurable. (John we are coming back for the pants) Everyone that we met at your shop was great. Very nice and helpful. I have to single out John Brannagan for taking the time to make a great sale. Twice. He heard what I was saying and offered the right solutions. I believe his love of riding is reflected in his care for his customers. Thanks John. Know that your dealership has set a very high bar for others to reach. I don't feel I am hard to please, but today, I seem hard to impress. Your dealership and the great team that make it work have impressed me. Ours will be a long distance relationship, but I think we can make it work. Thanks to all. "

"I got into riding about five years ago in Cincinnati and bought from the local Harley dealer. Part of the experience for me was being able to stop by the dealership, look at bikes, talk to the people who worked there, and just enjoy the atmosphere. It was a great dealership. When I moved to Charlotte I stopped by the BMW dealership just out of curiousity. I found the people there so friendly I went back a few times for the fun of it until I ultimately bought a new R1200RT. Eventhough my wife said I could keep both bikes, I sold the Harley because I know I would only ride the BMW. I have found the people at the dealership to be great. I didn't find that at some of the other dealerships I visited in the area. The sales, service, and parts people have been great. I enjoy stopping by to look around whenever I'm in the neighborhood and it reminds me of how I enjoyed the Harley dealership back in Cincinnati. The difference is that now I have a better bike! I look forward to meeting people to ride with through my visits to the dealership and attending bike events. I'm glad I found this place. It's been a very pleasant part of my transition to North Carolina."

"In these days of basic or poor customer service, it is refreshing to find a dealership delivering Service Quality. It was a great buying experience! I stopped by the dealership while looking for a new bike after I had already visited other large dealers in the Charlotte area (where you feel like a number, they give you a leaflet and are just trying to make a sale on the spot). Contrary to my experience at other dealers, John G in Sales was very friendly and asked me several questions about my objective, my style, what I was trying to achieve. We talked about different machines, I climbed on few to validate the different riding positions we talked about. I also met and talked with Mark, the owner. Both were genuinely interested in making sure I find the "right" bike. After narrowing my choice, John took me for a "true" test ride (not 5 min around the block) so I can really feel for the bike in various conditions. He also suggested a contact for insurance and helped me finding the right gear in the shop. Barry was efficient to expedite the paperwork. Mark even delivered my new bike at home. They are surely building relationships and not just going for a quick sale. I love my K12S and I am extending my highest recommendation, thank you guys!"

"Great experience with the service department at Motorcycles of Charlotte! Rory, Dennis and Billy take great care of you while getting you back, or keeping you on the road. It is a 250 mile round trip frommy house in Sparta to Matthews. Billy realizes that, and does everything he can to get me in and out in a single day. It is so refreshing to be appreciated as a customer. Recently while my bike was in for service, Rory took the time to call and explain what had been found out, what they were doing to fix the problem, and when it would be ready. It would have been much easier for the shop to simply notify me when the bike was ready for pick up. The bottom line is, this establishment goes out of their way to take care of the customer. I have dealt with many bike shops over the years. This shop has great attention to detail and customer service is #1. If you are thinking about picking a shop to buy from or to take care of your pride and joy, you will find none better than Motorcycles of Charlotte."

"All i can say is great customer service! The customer service alone was worth the drive 2hr drive and they had a terrific selection of bikes to boot. I was in the market for a used (hard to find) 620 ducati multistrada and they had one advertised on the web. When i got there to see the bike in person it was in even better shape than described. They gave me a great trade in on my bike. I was suprised at the amount of time they spent with me especially being that i was purchasing a used bike. Even after the sale these guys went out of their way to contact me to make sure i was satisfied with my purchase. In the next year i will be in the market to trade this bike in for a new ducati and I will definately be making a road trip to see these guys again. I couldn't be happier with my bike! "

"I purchased a K1200S in December 2008 from BMW of Charlotte and after only 1167 miles, decided that although it is a great bike, it just wasn't right for me. I contacted Greg Yoder and he was extremely helpful in getting me on the right bike. Greg answered all of my questions and concerns, returned my calls promptly and made sure I had the information needed to make a good decision- this time a R1200GS. He provided options for used and new bikes and arranged for me to test ride several bikes. I appreciated the fact that was allowed plenty of time to compare the bikes and make a decision- he was there to answer all questions, but at no time did I ever feel pressured. I finally decided on a new 2008 model, but wanted different wheels. Once again, this dealership stepped up and made it happen. They even installed the three piece luggage system and rack that I purchased- all while I waited. I actually passed three closer dealers to drive to BMW of Charlotte because they were so helpful and wanted my business. Everyone at this dealership has been very friendly yet professional- something out of the ordinary for most BMW motorcycle dealers! In both of my purchase experiences, I have been very satisfied and would highly suggest this dealer to anyone. "

"Once again, I am impressed with Bob, Erin , Delong, (amd new new addition Rory {SP?} and the rest of the service dept, I am probably leaving out some. Sorry. I called about the recall on my Suc (sprocket) (I also had a minor recall on my Triumph). Bob said he was not sure on a timetable but I was def on the recall list. A couple of days later my Trumph wouldn't start. I called on a T or W. Bob said my recall kits for both the Duc and Triumph were in. He also said he could work me in on Sat if I could be in fairly early and that they would do the recall work and try to fix the prob on the Triumph. I rolled in, Erin came out and did the paperwork to log me in. I then told him I had noticed I was due for my 6000 mi service on the Tiger. He said they would see what they could do. I knew they were busy and apologized for not letting them know sooner. I had thought it was a 7500 service. A couple of hours later. I was headed N with both bikes on the trailer. Both bikes now in perfect shape and ready to do what they do best. These guys are consumate pros and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks guys"

"Dropped in on a recent road trip with my 87 K75. Everyone was courteous and friendly. I was asking about routes down to Myrtle Beach. They suggested a great one, 218 to Polkton ... a fun road for sure. Wish the whole trip would have been like that road. Told me about a great place for lunch, and they were right. Very friendly sales people that took the time to chat with me about the local area and the future of their store. "I purchased my 2007 Bonneville American back in December 2007. My buying decision was based mostly on the people at Motorcycles of Charlotte. The after sales support from the parts department and service folks has be outstanding as well. I thought I wanted a HD but I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger because the people down the street at the HD dealer didn't pass my beer test!(could I sit down and have a beer with these guys and enjoy it).
